"Keep the Peace" Skeet Shooting Event

Calling all Young Professionals - we are rallying together Central Florida's professionals between the ages of 21-45 to participate in an awesome outdoor networking event. We are engaging professionals from all walks of life, advertising, legal, marketing, philanthropic, and religious to meet and shoot skeet! Location: Tenoroc Shooting Range 3755 Tenoroc Mine Rd Lakeland, FL Registration begins at 9:30, team shooting begins at 10:30 We encourage individuals to join us as we will be putting together mixed groups as teams! What it is: * There will be an instructional/safety lesson that will help people who have never shot a gun before prior to the event starting. I had never shot a gun before and am a smaller female and it was a great time when I went - even small children can shoot these guns! * People can sign up individually or as teams - with teams being comprised of five people. If people want to sign up individually, we will match them with other young professionals who come. * Each team will shoot together at flurries of 6 clay pigeons, each flurry will be one round - there will be at least 4 rounds. Scores will be kept for teams and the first and second place teams will get prizes like gift certificates for free golf, food, movies etc all around Central Florida. * Breakfast will be served during registration and lunch will be served after all the teams have gone. We will most likely be having 4Rivers BBQ for the lunch - so it will be tasty. What you will need: Closed toed shoes are the only requirement because it is outdoors, everything else will be provided (guns, ammo, etc) unless you want to bring your own gun, which you are welcome to do. T-shirts: Tshirts will be made and available for an extra $5 and if you register and have your team name to us before April 30, we can have your team names on the back of your shirt for only $5 extra (that's 5 personalized shirts for $30!) |
